PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH

The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Minneapolis-St.Paul Alumnae Chapter volunteers and partners with other organizations to help with community events that promote healthy lifestyles and address disease prevention and management. 

Minneapolis-St.Paul Alumnae Chapter holds educational forums such as the annual Caregiving and Aging Forum and participates in walks and other community events to raise money and awareness for various health-related causes, including:

  • American Cancer Society

  • American Diabetes Association

  • American Heart Association GO RED Day

  • Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

  • March of Dimes Walk For Babies

  • Minnesota AIDS Project

  • St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer

February is National Heart Month. Minneapolis-St. Paul Alumnae Chapter supports the American Heart Association's initiatives to educate the public about heart disease, empower people to take control of their health and celebrate survivors.
